Samuel Eto’o Mocks Jose Mourinho With His Opening Goal Celebration

Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o posed as an old man after scoring in Saturday’s English Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur in an apparent reference to coach Jose Mourinho’s remarks about him.

The Portuguese tactician stirred controversy when he was filmed talking with a Swiss businessman at a sponsor event last month in which he said: ” I have one (Eto’o) but he’s 32. Maybe 35, who knows?”

So we are finally getting to know who the liar is!Bola Okoro, the woman who introduced the Obesere to Olanike Olaiya, has finally spoken!

According to Okoro, Olanike Olaiya was not the accuser’s real name but Morenike Kikelomo and “she had been abandoned by her parents because of her waywardness.”

Mrs Okoro in a press conference with journalists on Friday in Ibadan, Oyo State stated thus:

“I have been responsible for the upkeep of Olaiya and her daughter, Folawe, for more than five years. Olaiya had earlier revealed to me, a plan to blackmail Obesere for N10 million, but I warned her not to try such a thing and I thought she had taken to my advice.

Narrating how it all began, Okoro said

“Obesere is my business partner and I introduced Olanike to him in order for him to help her with her business without knowing that she had another plan to malign him. She was with Obesere on Tuesday and called me that she would be coming to Ibadan to check on her child on Wednesday, but I told her to wait; that I was also coming to Lagos for a meeting, and she came to meet me at that meeting.

“I was not aware that anything was wrong with her until we got to Ibadan, but I was surprised when Obesere called me that Olanike said she was bleeding that I should take her to the hospital,” Okoro said.

 “When I inquired about what was wrong, she told me that if I needed money, I should support her plan to collect N10 million from Obesere, but I refused. I told her that I would never be part of that plan before she proceeded to Lagos and reported the alleged abuse at Okota Police Station,” she added.

“I have known Alhaji Obesere for over 12 years and he is a responsible, kind-hearted individual who cannot hurt a fly. I wonder why he would stoop so low as to rape or use a girl for ritual when so many girls are out there who want to have him” Okoro concluded.

He knows who I am.  Why wouldn’t he know?  He saw me on television before we eventually met.  He has been following all my movies.  He is not in support of my career.  He wants me to quit after marriage.  He doesn’t want me out because he doesn’t like my involvement in love scenes.  He doesn’t want people to be looking at me and me exposing myself because of romantic scenes.

Do you have it in mind to get married one day?

Of course, I have marriage in mind.  But I am not in a hurry to walk down the aisle.

Boko Haram’s ‘Human Butcher’ Captured

Nigerian security forces operating with the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Friday captured suspected terrorists, including one described as “Boko Haram’s lead specialist in human butchery” as they continue their offensive against the insurgents along Nigeria’s border with Chad.

A dusk attack by the terrorists in their bid to overrun markets in communities in the outskirts of Monguno and NNPC at New Marte, Borno State along the border with Chad, was also repelled by the MNJTF.

The Director of Defence Information (DDI), Maj-Gen Chris Olukolade who disclosed the capture of the “human butcher’ in a statement yesterday added that over 50 assorted brands of grenades and 11 AK 47 rifles were recovered from the fleeing terrorists.

He revealed that cordon and search operations are ongoing at the general area while heightened patrols are continuing.

Meanwhile, he said, interrogation of captured terrorists from various locations had been yielding useful information as to their mode of operations.

“Among those in custody is a lead specialist in butchering human beings who insists he does not use firearms but daggers and cutlasses for his assignment”, he said.

In the same vein, Olukolade said that troops on stop and search patrol yesterday afternoon in Maiduguri arrested a man suspected to be a terrorist with an unprimed Improvised Explosive Device (IED), who was undergoing further interrogation as at the time of reporting.

The Defence Spokesman further revealed that more assaults and encounters are continuing in other identified locations as intelligence sources confirm the routes being used by the fleeing terrorists.

“Troops have been directed to sustain aggressive patrols in certain areas where terrorists’ actions are anticipated,” he added.

I’m 19 and a 2nd year here at Kabarak Uni, I joined this college a virgin though i have had boyfriends before,my parents are strict so having sex was never on my mind.

Sep 22nd 2013 is a day i will never forget,we went clubbing in town and got drunk with some senior students then went back hostels for party round 2,i remember less but i remember waking up naked to some guy called Javan with my P painful and knew he had sex with me when drunk i only asked if he used a condom and he said yes,however when taking bath i noticed sperms down there,i wanted to commit suicide,i feared getting pregnant and HIV,took contras and hoped i was HIV free.

In November i tested HIV positive,i felt like cutting off my neck,i confronted that guy and he insisted he was clean that i got it from somewhere,i was so depressed and took alcohol to die,i even bought poison,the pain was just unbearable how was i gonna face the world,i let my parents down,i gave up on the world and just wanted to end my life” .

Students storm Oyo governor’s office, block gate

Students of Oyo State School of Hygiene, Eleyele, Ibadan, on Monday stormed the Oyo State Governor’s Office and shut down governance for a few hours.

The students were protesting the non-accreditation of courses in their school. They blocked the main entrance of the office and demanded that Governor Abiola Ajimobi hear their plight.

No fewer than 300 students of the institution were involved in the protest, which was led by the school’s Students’ Union President, Tunde Ayuba.

The students lamented that since the school was established about 81 years ago, no effort had been made to upgrade the school’s facilities. They added that the certificates offered by the school had no national status.

Ayuba said, “Our school was established on April 1, 1933, but 81 years after, the school has yet to be accredited. We don’t have the infrastructure to compete as a higher institution. Some people refer to us as second-class higher institution. We earn Ordinary Diploma and Higher Diploma certificates, but we do not observe the National Youth Service Corps scheme because we are not accredited. The National Association of Nigerian Students does not recognise us either.”

Ayuba pointed out that gaining admission to the school was not an easy task as students would have to go through stages of examinations. He also alleged that the school’s tuition was high.

“Before our admission into the school, we wrote different examinations and went through a three-month probation period, which was referred to as weeding. Our tuition is more than N70,000 and while indigenes pay an extra N15,000 to the government purse, non-indigenes pay N25,000.”

Secretary to the State Government, Ismail Alli, who attended to the students on behalf of the governor, said the government was not sleeping over the issue.

He explained that Ajimobi had approved the upgrading of the institution to a school of health technology, adding that the House of Assembly was working on the bill.

He said, “It is a good thing that you have come as orderly group of students. You are pace-setting students of a respected hygiene institution that was established in 1933. The governor has mandated me to let you know that he acknowledges the contribution of the school to the development of the state.

“The governor is ready to deal with your problems, but there is a procedure to follow before this school can be the college of health technology that the governor desires. The bill for the upgrade put together by the Ministry of Health has already been presented to the state House of Assembly.”

The SSG appealed to the students and assured them that their agitations would be taken care of.

“We have in the 2014 budget the provision for upgrading of the school facilities that will lead to its accreditation. Everything you are clamouring for are already being taken care of,” the SSG added.
